You may not be aware, but the Pacific is one of the few remaining hotels that operates a fully established pastry kitchen.
Headed up by Master Pastry Chef, an Austrian whiz, Maria Graf, we produce pastries and cakes not just for the Pacific International, but for many other food establishments and private catering.
Maria is a wonderful mentor to her team and recently one of our pastry apprentices, Tracy Dunlop did us proud again, winning two gold medals at the Cairns show and followed this up with two gold medals at the Tully show.
